·         The Rotary Club of Carpinteria was chartered in 1973 and is a member club of Rotary International

·         We can be considered to exist as two entities:

• The Rotary Club of Carpinteria, a 501 (c) (4) status organization
• The Foundation of the Rotary Club of Carpinteria, a 501 (C) (3) status organization

·Your sponsorship of our website is made to the Rotary Club of Carpinteria, and can be considered an advertising expense to your company but is not a charitable donation

·          A charitable contribution may be made to our foundation by special arrangement and recognized on our website but not as a website sponsor

     Sponsoring our website is easy as we offer one option:

• A text or image based advertisement
•  Link to your email or website
•  Rate is $60 per year from July 1 until June 30
•  Prorated from the first full month of advertising until June 30
• ·You may submit your own artwork or logo but it will be modified to fit in a square with sides of 140 pixels
•  We are happy to develop art work based on your existing logo or preference
•  You will be able to approve your artwork prior to launch

with the moral or ethical notions of Rotary International or the Rotary Club of Carpinteria

   Expectations:

·     Our website is a functional site designed mostly for communication amongst club members, members of other Rotary Clubs, individuals interested in learning about the Rotary Club of Carpinteria and speakers and guests to our club. It is not a high traffic site and as such will not bring high visibility to your advertisement. Therefore your advertisement should be considered a sponsorship with the possibility of return on investment rather than the expectation of return on investment

·     Your investment will enter into the general operating fund of the Rotary Club of Carpinteria. It is our club tradition to meet all club expenses with member dues and to support local and international service projects with donations of our accumulated funds in excess of our operating expenses. It is most likely your funds will be utilized in a service oriented capacity but as part of our general fund will not be limited to or associated with a specific project or campaign

Our club members change duties on an annual basis, July 1-June 30. To contact us regarding sponsorship,

please go to our home page and click the name identified as webmaster. This will open a site based email

server and allow you to communicate directly with the webmaster.
